Community guidelines

WildPass works because both sides trust each other with something real — land and access to it. These rules are binding for every booking.

🥾 For guests

• Pack it in, pack it out. Leaving trash is the fastest way to lose your account.
• Stay inside green zones. Red zones are off-limits without exception — they exist for your safety and the owner's privacy.
• Respect every harvest limit, on the listing and in state law. Forage sustainably: cut mushrooms cleanly, take leaves not bulbs where asked, never strip a patch bare.
• Hunting and fishing require valid state licenses and tags — your WildPass is land permission, not a license.
• Close gates behind you. Report damage, injured animals, or hazards to the host.
• No commercial harvest on personal-use passes.
• Show up only during your booked window, with no more guests than your pass allows.

🌲 For hosts

• Represent your land honestly — zones, species, and amenities as they actually are.
• Keep marked zones current. If logging, grazing, or hazards change access, update the map before the next booking.
• Share check-in details promptly after booking.
• Rate guests fairly and report genuine violations — the rating system protects every other host.
• Honor confirmed bookings; cancellations within 48 hours hurt your rating.
• WildPass sells land access only. Hosts may not sell or rent firearms, ammunition, or other regulated weapons through the platform — payment-network rules prohibit it, and violations risk every host's ability to get paid.

📷 Community posts & photo sharing

Trip posts, photos, reviews, and messages are an all-ages space. These rules apply to everything you share, everywhere on WildPass:

• No illegal content of any kind. Content that depicts or promotes crimes — poaching, hunting out of season or without a license, trespassing, over-limit harvests — is removed and can end your account. Legal, licensed harvest photos are welcome.
• No nudity or sexual content, period. Not in photos, not in text, not "artistic" — this is an outdoor community that includes families and teens. Photo uploads pass through an automated nudity filter, and violations are removed on sight. Any sexual content involving a minor is reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or doxxing. Don't post other people's private info — and don't post identifiable photos of people without their OK.
• Photograph honestly: your own trips, your own finds. No stolen photos, spam, or deceptive posts.
• Don't dox the honey holes — public land is for everyone, but a fellow forager's secret patch isn't yours to broadcast.

👨‍👧 Young explorers (13-17)

WildPass accounts are for ages 13 and up — we don't collect anything from children under 13. Explorers aged 13-17 keep their account linked to a parent or guardian's adult account and can't book passes on their own: the linked adult books a group pass that includes them, and minors never visit listed properties alone.

⭐ Ratings & reports

After each booking, guests rate hosts and hosts rate guests (1–5 stars). Ratings are public on profiles and listings. Incident reports (trash left, limits exceeded, zone violations, misrepresented listings, safety issues) are reviewed by WildPass; repeated or serious violations lead to removal from the platform.
